Victorian Lady Lisa With Kevin Murphy's Oil Portrait
One of my services offered is Professional Victorian Fashions Model . I recently had my portrait painted at New Hope's Artist Street Fair.
The event, Pride In The Human Form, was held in the #1 Art Town in America, New Hope, PA.
Held on W. Mechanic, the street was closed off to traffic as people enjoyed live music, art displays and a delicious bake sale to benefit Breast Cancer.
A tent was set up for the artists and their models. It could not have been a more picturesque day, sunny with a light breeze.
It was such a rewarding experience for me to have a portrait done by such renowned artists, while wearing one of my authentic Victorian Mourning ensembles from my private collection.
One of the artists marveled that I sat still for over an hour and a half during the first sitting. It did not seem that long, I was truly caught up in the experience.
A very special thank you to Artist Kevin Murphy who generously gifted me with a signed copy of my portrait after the event. I will cherish it and pass it down to my children.
Victoriana Lady has been honored to receive donations from individuals who would like their loved ones antique garments preserved and their history shared. Any item, in any condition before 1930 will be cherished and given due acknowledgement in my traveling museum programs.
