What Is The Victorian Friendship Society of PA?
Our society began in 2002 as a ladies tea society with 12 members and as a local chapter of Sandy's Tea Society. For the first two years tea parties were held at the 1870 Victorian home of society founder, Lisa Lewis. Each tea party had a different theme and were held once a month.
Eventually members took turns hosting tea parties in their homes once a month. Over the years we have grown to a current membership of 52 members. We now include ladies and gentleman 18 years and older in our society.
The Victorian Friendship Society has 4 home meetings a year hosted at the meticulously restored 1870 Victorian Stegmaier Mansion B&B.
We meet once a month, when not having a home meeting, the society travels all over PA, NJ, & NY to various Victorian & historical events, antique shops, tea rooms, museums, and much more.
We average about 20-25 members at each event.
I’d like to cordially invite our readers to consider joining our society. We are still accepting membership, please contact director Lisa Lewis for more information at 570-655-8392 or Lisa@VictorianaLady.com. Past highlights include: *Tour of the Stegmaier Mansion Bed & Breakfast

Director Gary Parks Greeting Us At Slifer House Museum Lewisburg PA
We were greeted at the impressive front doors of the Slifer House Museum by director Gary Parks.
Mr. Parks, a very gracious and knowledgeable tour guide, entertained us with his wit and fascinating history of the house and the Slifer family.
Our members were impressed and delighted at the authentic interior. We viewed an interesting Victorian Mourning display and were treated to a beautiful song on the antique piano & pump organ.
I highly recommend taking the trip to the lovely Victorian Slifer House Museum!
